When you refuse to look inward for the answer

I wrote this imagining I was saying it aloud, and I hope you can hear my voice in it.

Wrote this after reading Robert Ray's poem Judged on here-which I think is incredible

The freezing bus at 7:00 this morning made me think I should write a big metaphor so here it is

I wish I had really seen my grandparents as people and not an obligation when I was younger, because they're pretty awesome people.

It was only a denim skirt, with opaque black tights

Short, improvised scene just for a bit of fun.
