With the dust blown away, we find creases where there wasn't before

This is my attempt at kick-starting my poetry writing once more.

Superficiality, expecting too much, owning too little and loving; not at all. A loss of hopes, dreams, life and meaning.

inspiration taken from an instrumental song I made a few years back. just improvised the title back then, just improvised this poem just now.

I just wanted to play with the word fete/fate. this is what resulted.

Metaphorical, cryptic... If you can work out what it means, I'll send you a gift. it's not that difficult...for me. But that's coz I wrote it :P G..
