Inspired by listening to Morning Parade's 'Alienation'

A response to my father's song that he wrote about me, called "My Son Shines"

Not sure where this came from but here's a poem about war

Facing a wide gap, two people look to the other side. The man kicks stones about and prepares to jump. The woman calculates another move.

Two men One goal One man Two falls

Looking across the water at our school's chapel

My roommate no longer talks to me, disenchanted from having to live with me for so long.
