The Sound of Music...A Lesson by Speechless Shadow Finding a place and playing music.![]() So, first you need a place to write. It doesn't matter where you write, as long as it is comfortable. I personally like to work by a computer or just before I go to sleep--my ideas explode then. Test out a few places to see which places are more comfortable and where you can get the most amount of ideas flowing through your brain. It could even be at a park or a restaurant if you are able to get ideas going. Once you find your place then you may want to turn on music (use and iPod etc. if you are away from your computer or a radio/CD player). Sometimes you may get ideas if you hear a lyric or something. If you like classical music then you may get into the zone a little bit more. If you like pop and rock etc. then you may be able to use a lyric from a song (you should change it up a bit so it seems original) and then write a stanza. There are so many possible ways you can write poetry. I hope this helps for your first part. Comments |
