Geek squad(?) Forum Cult 101

I thank the Geek Squad for inviting me to be a member. I sense most of you are young-- teens, 20's?-- and it takes both maturity and perspicacity to invite someone several generations older [I'm 72]. By this I don't mean to imply that being old confers wisdom-- I know a lot of old farts who are as stupid now as when they were young: the sad truth is very few people evolve throughout life. But if I have anything to offer, it may be that I've had the time to experience a lot of stuff, from the Indochina wars to what used to be called the paranormal. which itself ranged from awe to terror. Of course, 99% of my life has been like everyone's: mundane and sometimes petty. But it's that 1% that for almost 1/2 a century has made me aware that we are all sleepwalkers and what we call reality is a long, long dream we all share till individually we awaken-- perhaps into another dream (or nightmare) for all I know.

Sorry for going on so, but I thought you all should know where I'm coming from when I put my 2 cents in-- and thank you in advance for your patience.

Your humbleness is a great example to us all!
