The Sometimes Weekly News

Hi to all members,
This is a new thread that I'll be updating each week just to let  people know what's going on. The threads can be added to by anyone, or feel free to post a thread of your own.

This weeks featured writer is AmeliaElizabeth and her story Burnbriar. Definately a unique style and worth a read, (Don't forget to review.)

There's a contest for anyone that wants to throw together a little something, the winner will be featured later in the year.
An Elf Entered The Room...
is just as it sounds, either start with that line or use it in the scene, this is merely an exercise to stretch the mind a little. It doesn't need to be long, but it should be the best you can offer.

There's a thread called How To's which is purely for technical stuff. (How do I post a story, How do I add a picture, etc)

I try and read and review everything that is posted but it takes a little time so be patient. You can help out by reviewing other members work.
Appreciate the effort that they've devoted and leave a review.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Thanks again all for the great threads already left and the fine works that have been added to the archive. Thanks also to all the new members and welcome.

Been really busy (Flat out like a lizard drinking.) So I've been a little distracted, just reading through the stories to decided who to feature next, it's a tough gig but I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for sticking with the group and your great contributions so far.
The first couple of entries are in for the An Elf Entered The Room... contest so why not give them a read or enter your own.
Currently in my own life I'm restructuring my novel Parallel to a more Young Adult format, lots of adding and subtracting words and splitting chapters.
Received another rejection which prompted the rethink.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is revisit old ground but it can also breath new life into a story.

What do you think?

Keep feeding the creative beast and thanks again.
