Phantastic Phantasy Forum Artwork?

I know the artwork isn't exactly on topic for a writer, but is there any paticular place that people get their art for the cover picture? sorta curious.

If you're referring to book jacket Artwork, it depends. A lot of the big publishers will have artists on their books (no pun intended) but if you're self publishing or if it is a smaller publisher, you may need to find your own. 
Now that is is where it gets tricky. There are a number of avenues you can follow but basically you will need to either gain the artists permission if you find a piece that you want to use or you can commission the artist to produce a piece to your specifications.
Either way, you will probably find that most decent publishers will be  able to guide you in the best approach.
Whatever happens, if you get to the point of picking out Jacket Art rejoice. It's one of the last things to do before the book hits the presses.

It sorta answers my question. but it's sort of not much help for a 15 year old : D. i mean something just to make my story scream, "Read me" and all around somethin that fits the story. i haven't been able to figure out something to compliment my book, Whiteblood, with my own paint/drawing skills.

I don't expect to actually print and publish it soon.

Your best bet, if your just looking for an image for your post is to hit up your friends, family etc, anyone who has artistic skills. Failing that, search the net. While copyright is implied, most amatuer artists and photographers would be fine if you ask and give credit. Try deviantart on the link below.   Lots of really good work there.

I know my cover for my book Half isn't exactly incredible (it's very simple) but I actually have 4 years of experience in Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop, so I make my own. I usually just use Google and look for photos and edit them to really make them POP! The cover for Half was made as a temp just because I didn't have as much time to make a really nice one (school takes up a lot of time as you probably know). Let me know if you want me to make a cover for you, I wouldn't mind at all :)
