Agreed there are interesting points. Some I've considered myself while writing and revising. The last one is the most important. The potency of the story can definitely be weighed down by either showing or telling.
I really liked the link in the article to the infodumps piece, as well.
It was nice to see these points expounded upon. Thanks for the link ; )
