Publish Central! Forum Articles/Essays vs. A Book

Individually, articles and essays tend to be easier to get published. However, if you want to do something book-sized, a collection of articles becomes a tough sell. People who sell these things tend to be relatively well known, top of their field and have been published several times before. Books have similar limitations, however the focus and depth of a concentrated work is a point in its favor. I recommend the book. If you must do essays, try to write them about similar topics so that they can e tied together. Or don't.
