Man this slow website is killing me. They need to fix the server problem or bandwidth problem. This is getting horrible. I want to do some reviews but by the time a page loads I'm frustrated.

And another rant. Who told people it is acceptable to request strangers to be your friends and then send out auto requests to be reviewed? Don't know about you people but I'm old fashion. I got go out to dinner or coffee before people show me their stuff. At least send an email with an introduction or something. I'm going to teach one of these guys a lesson. I'm going to pull out a gambit of editing tools and share my real opinion. None of that your writing shows so much passion crap. Nothing personal, just focusing on the writing.

OK done bitching. I guess I'm just frustrated right now. I'm writing but it isn't what I want to write. It's is like I have to write my way through the crap till I find that voice. Arghhhh

Anthony - yes, the slow site is driving me nuts, too.

And, as for the friend requests by strangers, I think your idea is a good one. I've done that. Just yesterday, I tore into someone's work with a hard, solid edit, with the note that this is how I reviewed. If they were interested, let me know and I'd add them. Otherwise, I understood that a lot of people don't want reviews that deep.

Sometimes they disappear when I do that, but yesterday he liked the review. ::tongue::

Either way, it divides the wheat from the chaff, and the shallow end kids w/floaties on their arms from the deep end high divers.

Dinner and a movie at least...sheesh. ::cool::

I'd like you guys to know of a review I got about the awesome reviews you all give. Thank you for them. I can't say it enough, without the gracious insight of such wonderful writers I don't know what I'd do. So thanks. You all rock!

Yeah, it's killing me. What's up with the site this week?

In other news, Steve's asked me if I want to be a hall monitor at urbis. I haven't even been active there since December!

In a way that sounds like fun but it also sounds like a lot of good for nothing work. I remember having to ask refunds for reviews to the tone of 3 out of five.
