The Writers' Coffeehouse Forum Hello Everyone!

Breakout is a story that has been taking shape for many years. I am excited to bring it to life and share with everyone. There are so many books written for teens, I hope that this story will be read by teens and young adults alike. Afterall, life doesn’t end after high school. It only gets more complicated.I will be sharing information about the characters and story as I continue the journey and learn more about Laelia, Lexie, Michael and Veive.The story begins with Laelia, although truth be told, it began long before that. Laelia is a college student, working hard in college with but with no concrete plans after graduation. Ancient history has always intrigued her, particularly that of the pre-Roman empire. She finds herself researching her family’s past, with the assistance of a local guitarist; Michael and best friend Lexie. Life gets a little more complicated when Laelia realizes that she is not the only one interested in her family’s past. Laelia  soon finds herself caught in the middle of a timeless war, one that will have devastating impacts for humanity.
