The Writers' Coffeehouse Forum Hello everyone

Hi! I'm new and I want to introduce myself.

My name is Jim Verhovec. My writing experience is limited. My only published material has been on-line and via my long-ago newsletter editor experience.

I want to write creative non-fiction concerning some specific events in my life.

I was an Electronic Technician in the US Air Force. When I left the Air Force, in late December of 1981, I enrolled in college to pursue a degree in what I learned as an airman.

I was a passenger in a single car accident. My brain injury was severe. It is still a problem, even if I can walk, talk, and tie my shoe laces. I've become disabled.

There is so much more that has happened since January 29th of 1983. I try to keep a journal and I expect to use that information source for my writing, if I write on that subject specifically. But, I enjoy writing on other subjects, too. Still, I usually end up writing about the car crash in 1983.
