Donn Cortez - The Closer
Jonathan Steakley - Armour
Michael Romkey - Wrote a three-book Vampire series. It was awesome.
Noah Stevenson (of WC) - RIP...

Douglas Adams - Hitchiker's Guide...

These are the poets and some of their notable works that have inspired me

Poe-The tell tale heart, Raven, and A dream within a dream

Richard Matheson and Stephen King are the greatest influences on my writing style. I owe a great deal to HP Lovecraft, Poe, the above writers, and all of the old great "pulp" writers in all their genres, especially Robert E. Howard. Their work has been what really inspired me to write, and of course...the old "Scary Storys To Tell In The Dark" books. Grew up on those, and they're still great.

Authors that linger in my mind include Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, and Chuck Palahniuk.  I listen to music when I write.  Some of my work is influenced by the lyrics and mood of Trent Reznor, Danzig, and Type O Negative songs.
