Re: Help13 Years Agohmmm well why dont u try finding peopel that really care about you for you. like friends who stand by ur side no matter what. its always good to have those. and if you want to cut urself then think about happy things like a land with flying chocolate or cheesecake. and ur crush dancing. it helps.

Re: Help13 Years AgoCut all you want but a few years down the line, those cuts would then be scars and they will leave a mark not on your body but on the very core of your existence.... You want to be an idiot, no one gives a damn about you spilling some worthless drops of blood.....
You are what you think you are, no more and no less..... Get a life! World is not fair... Life is not fair.. Nothing is... I come from a place where everyday people die... I have lost my friends and my family members but you know what i learned it the hard way..... Life goes on...... Honestly, grow up! |

Re: Help13 Years AgoI don't know why your depressed, but you should try reading this . Its wrote by a russian scientist if you want to improve your life then read it. Look through some self improvement blogs. A few good ones are personal excellence, advanced life skills, and joel runyon's impossible blog.Try taking cold showers (you'll forget about everything but the cold water). Meditate. You don't have to do it a lot just 10 minutes a day is fine. Then extend it to about 30 minutes. Read the bible and pray. Everyday before you go to bed thank god for all of the good things in your life. Stop viewing the glass as half empty and view it as half full you'll be a lot happier. Give someone a compliment. Look in the mirror and tell your self I love you its ok if you don't believe it at 1st. Just keep doing that everyday until its true. I hope you get over your depression.

Re: Help13 Years AgoTry to find someone to talk to
Sometimes it helps to just talk everything out. I know how hard it is to stop and how happy it is to finally stop, But don't let someone ruin your streak like that. When you feel like cutting talk to someone Or write it out, exactly how you feel and then send it to someone. I just to do this when things got bad, I have a journal for when words become to hard to say out loud. Then when it was really bad I'd just hand them the journal and told them to read it. Once they knew how I felt it was easier to talk. Sometimes it helps to take your mind off things, you could always watch movies or t.v. shows. As for your mom. . .I'm sorry she's acting this way. She should be supportive and understanding. I'm not sure how much you've talked to her before but she should get over it. You could try buying her more ice cream if that helps, and apologize, but you should know you aren't at fault here. This is only if she continues to not talk to you. Believe it or not parent/child relationships are really important. Once again I'm sorry. If you can't find anyone to talk to or you're scared of how they might reaction or say I'm willing to be there for you. :) ~feel better “I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!” ― Dr. Seuss |

Re: Help13 Years AgoWhat I would do... Write. Vent all your feeling on paper whenever you feel the urge to cut, and go outside. You'll be away from what you cut with, and you'll have a calming atmosphere. :) You can do it. Healing is always possible, just never give up, even if you relapse. I believe in you!

Re: Help13 Years AgoI used to do destructive things as well but you'll soon realize that its not worth it and its not the solution to the problem. Cutting yourself wont help, the problem would still be there. Think of happy thoughts. No one would give you your happiness but yourself. Dont let others bring you down. Whatever it is that is depressing you, dont let it get to you. Try to look for things that makes you happy or write things down. It helps. Writing down your feelings is almost as good as talking to someone. :)

Re: Help13 Years AgoI am so sorry to hear. I know it can be hard especially when you feel like the one who should care the most doesn't seem to understand or empathize. It can be hard to see the light when it feels like all you can see is darkness. I know from experience that it is very easy to get caught in these negative and self abusive cycles but even harder to get back out of it once you have begun to spiral downward. I will hoping that your light returns and you are able to feel and perceive the love and the healing the light that is waiting inside and if it is any consolation I will be praying for you and sending protection and healing and my angels to watch after you. Just know that no matter how sad or how depressed or lonely you might feel you are never quite as alone as you might think.

Re: Help13 Years AgoThe best thing you can do to help your-self is talk to someone who will be there for you no matter what you do and tell you that it's all going to be ok. Cutting doesn't help you mentally or physically and just hurts you. I understand that it's probably hard to not go back to something that you want to quit doing but you have to stay strong. There are people in this world that will be there for you in this world and the don't want to see you hurt. I am one of them and If you ever need a shoulder to cry on or a ear to talk into I'm here and I will never turn you down.

Re: Help13 Years AgoAlthough the pain may be severe in your heart, that doesn't mean you should hurt your body. I understand that's how you take out your depression, but you should try to find a trustworthy adult to talk to, or a very close friend. You shouldn't hurt yourself that way. It's just not good for you. I hope you feel better.

Re: Help13 Years AgoTo stop cutting can be hard, you just have to learn to push through it and think of happy things like any close friend, family members (that are not like your mum) and just other people who know what you're going through.
Just remember that even if there seems like there is no place for you on the Earth, god created everyone for a reason. From just making someone's day to finding the cure for cancer, whatever it is, everyone is living for a reason and that reason could help to save lives, 1 or 1000.
YOLO (you only live once)
