He came with a bottle of wine

a chunk of cheese

a cluster of purple grapes

a feast to my liking .

It is the tasting of

his mind that gratifies

that knowledge of  the

ripest plum

the sweetest strawberries

how rivers flow

that lily , palest white

that melon night

the pouring of new wine

into an old bottle .
