What is your favorite genre? (Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction)

What is your favorite type of writing? (Books, Stories, Poems)

What is your favorite kind of writing? (Happy, Sad, Dark, Suspenseful, Enlightening, Meaningful)

I was thinking we could have contests for the most popular answers first, with open voting. And we could have a day where you just post a certain genre, or type of writing. We would make sure to get through ALL the different answers I get on here so answer my questions and tell me what you think!

1.  My favorite is Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Science fiction, urban fantasy, and romance.  I can read most others.

2.  All three?  I suck at poetry (well now a days) since I try to write the character's thoughts at certain points in a poem (or general story) format.  I prefer books then stories followed by poems.

3.  Any of those will work for me.  Depends on my mood.  Sometimes I REALLY need a laugh and other times I need to know other people are 'clouded in darkness' or sad.  Makes me feel better about my predicament
