My Personal Statement to National Honors Society

I had to write this essay to National Honors Society, detailing just why we felt we deserved to be a part of the institution. This is what I wrote.

Ode to Writer's Block

I wrote this just recently in coffee shop, as a result of reading William Faulkner's resignation letter to the post-office and being unable to write poetry for almost a whole year.

The Origin of Music

This particular piece was written for my AP English class. I spent hours on it; ironically, I was scored a 'B', but I guess that is how the cookie crumbles.

The Gift from Lysander

I wrote this for Creative Writing. Since we were only limited to 8 pages, it feels as if this story isn't fully fleshed out, but it received high praise, anyhow. I may re-write, and lengthen, it later

The Girl

This is my personal tribute to Lisbeth Salander, the protagonist to the Millennium trilogy and my all-time favourite character from anything. I love her to death. <3

A Night at the Theatre
