Tainted Angel

Hey there, dear readers. Yep, that old “meek and beg” message is gone. I’m not that way anymore. I am actually very confident about my work. A future Marine has to be that way, ya know? Yeah that’s right, I’m in the military now. Don’t expect that to influence my writing a whole lot, but it will influence me.

And if people don’t like it, they can leave.

But for those that stay and read, I must as to please RATE, REVIEW, and SHARE what you like from here.

By the way, I need my friends to STOP sending me read requests for poetry. there's only so much emotions metaphores of love I can take, and I'm rather sick of it. For the record, I like unique poetry, and most of it just seems redundant after a while. So only send it if you think you have something I will reall enjoy, like "Tits and A*s" or "Fist F*****g Your Mom." Those were wonderful.

I do not write traditional web-chapters anymore. Not really my style. Plus all the stuff for my novels has been taken down so that when I am finished I can publish all that with no problems.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not still posting original stuff, or just down-right crap. I have this little 4 to 5 page chapters for my stories. I wanted to make them all webcomics, but since I’m no good at drawing, I figured this would be better. They updates every Friday and Monday. Or vise versa.

A little about me: Well, I'm 18 years old, I LOVE the black and white theme of this place, and I feel right at home writing and posting stories here. I love to write pretty much anything. I have stories that go with Religion, fantasy, Gothic Horror, and I am even writing a mystery story. I don't really like it though. I was never one for being left out in the dark, you know? The only mysteries I really like are the ones in spy stories. I try to write for everything, or at least begin a story, just to see what I can come up with and be creative. But if it does not get very far, then I save it, put it into a file of failed work, and use the ideas from that story and put them into another.

I really like this site because I felt like I needed a place for the world to get a taste of my original writings. I go to this other site where I write my fanfictions, called Fanfiction.net There my creativeness is actually very restricted. But here, I can go with whatever I choose. That's freedom, and that is what a writer needs.

I started writing stories when I was about 12. I had just moved away from the pisshole called Mason City (though there were some really nice people living there at the time.) I was feeling lonely in the classroom that was full of people I did not know, so I started just writing what was in my head down on a piece of notebook paper. It was English class, so I just kept writing, since the assignment was a journal-type writing thing. I had been having weird thoughts all week about dragons and stuff. Soon I was writing more, and developing a plot, characteristics for the protagonists, and everybody around them, and I soon found myself spending every moment of free time writing that story. So people started asking me what it was. I was dumbfounded to realize I had not made up a title for it. So one day one of my friends asked me what it was, and I just said the just thing that came to my mind. It's called "Fairy Quest." I pretty much just used the summary for the whole book as the title. It is about two boys that get sent to this place called the 2nd Lands, which are all on the edge of civil war. I have been writing it for 4 years and have gotten up to 249 hand written pages. It's not very good, since I'm pretty much writing it off of the top of my head, but it is getting better. After I started it, I soon was getting visions for other stories. So, I set up a file on my mom's computer and started typing.

I have over 20 stories that I plan on publishing, and I know that 6, for a fact, have become my masterpieces. I can't wait to finish them. I'll post a little preview of them when I feel comfortable with doing so.

I have to admit, there is one person I would really like to thank for all this. His name is Bradly Pence. He was my best friend for almost 7 years ( I moved away, and now keep tabs with my on Myspace.) He was so hooked on reading, that it soon spread to me. After that, I also was addicted to books and stories. If it wasn't that love for stories, I would not have been able to find out that I am a writer at heart.

And, just so you know, the only reason my profile says I’m online almost 24/7 is because I don't like using the Logout button, ha ha. I do have a life. It's somewhere in my closet, so give me a day or two to find it, ok?

I have a few authors that I really love. Eion Colfer, for one. His books like The Wish List, the Artemis Fowl Series, and The Supernaturalits are just awsome. J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis are aslo really awsome, as is J. K. Rowling, Suzanne Collins, and Johnathan Stroud. Nancy Farmer also holds my high respect for writing the House of the Scorpion. Anyone who wrote a Star Wars story I liked is also worth mentioning, and Orson Scott Card is also cool to me. I have to say, Robert R. McCammon is my favorite horror author. His works are awsome, even thought I only read one.
