Ticking Time Bomb

Ticking Time Bomb

A Poem by sivan

Drip.

Drip.

Drip…

Slow, dull, numbing sequences,

Channeling me through encrypted frequencies.

To waste oneself on senseless leakages,

I hear you speak of youthful eagerness.

Tick.

Tock.

Tick…

Repetitive, predictable, ceaseless bends,

Asking me to make amends.

To feel no more than frailty lends,

I hear you spark the final end.
