As you lay your head at night,
Continue to think about me
Because no matter where we are,
I'm bound to have the same thoughts.

Thoughts of every moment I've spent with you,
From our first kiss,
To last week in your arms,
Fading into a much too surreal world.

Your arms wrap around me,
In such a way I never wish to leave,
Your kisses softly caresses me,
Leaving me speechless.

I melt under your touch,
And intake all you have to give,
In this heavenly scented paradise,
Beneath the fire of our love.

Keep me in your mind,
Keep me in your heart,
Keep me steady under your strength,
And never burn us out.

I read the reviews below, and I have to say, I LOVE the last line. :) I adore this entire cute lil diddy. I don't think it's cheesy so much as you can never say what love feels like enough times. lol. Even though everyone tries! This is a fantastic attempt (one that succeeds in its venture). A spectacular poem. LOVE IT.

The only thing I would suggest is the last line seems a little off. Maybe it should say something about not letting the fire burn out or something to tie it together.
