Rain

Comparing him to the weather

Rain 

It started off soft

Peaceful and Quiet

But it got heavy

Loud like a Riot

 

Soft whispers,

Light Hugs

 

Sharp Shivers,

Harmful Drugs,

 

You were like the rain,

I knew it was coming,

I saw the storm clouds,

But never thought of running.

 

I thought it was just a sprinkle,

But it never passed,

It only got heavier,

And that’s when I asked

 

Do you still love me?

 

And The words I heard ,

Cracked like thunder

Echoing in my head

Making me wonder

 

Why didn’t I run

when I had the chance

I thought it was fun,

it was just a trance

i miss the lilac sky,

that once was

but that died 

long ago

Personally I love rain, something about it walking in it makes nothing else matter, in that moment everything is okay. As humans we crave thrills and don't think about risks, sometimes the idea of being completely happy, even for a moment, is supposedly worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
