I wrote this when i witnessed my parents fighting and i had no way to escape it.

Yelling and screaming
With calm responding
Still yelling and screaming
Silence from me
The pain and agony of listening
I want to leave or scream back
I can't keep listening to him talk to her like that

Why can't he yell at me
