Sunflowers and their ability to grow tall and withstand nature's storms....
I like the way you;re not afraid to express vulnerability in this poem.....it asks the question.....about the female form.....beautiful and standing tall, yet is it storng emough from within to express what it needs to in this world...?
Thanks for sharing this thought provoking write...:)
Sunflowers are amongst my favourite flowers. They are a gardener's glory from start to finish if the grower knows how to care for them. As seedlings they need care; as they grow and grow, they need support; when they flower they need more help than most blooms. Many folk won't grow them, thinking of them as giant out.of.place flowers. Yet many folk will smile at their runaway looks, bright colours and CHEER their lives, then, dry the sunflowers' faces through Autumn into Winter, drying them as Christmas decorations, either as they appear or with dabs of red, yellow and green! (Popped on deep sills they can look extra special!) The normal needs extra throughout time: long be a bouqhet of three/five sunflowers!
Plus, reading below, human beings of all colours and size have their special and precious place, of course, no doubtof that!
Beauty comes from within. Even if one fails to meet their full potential...if it gets eaten or cut off along the way, that person must realize he or she is definitely blooming on the inside.

Sometimes people don’t reach their full potential either. That doesn’t mean they are without value. Far from it. Sunflowers are beautiful. I love how they search for the sun. Thank you for sharing.
I think if you are conscious that is valuable. If you realize this value you are more valuable than those who do not understand this basic value. Very "valuable" people seem not to understand basic value.
