Don't You Ever Wish?A Poem by 1DisawsumThis is a change from my usual endings of poems. A girl has a bad start to life, yet with the help and support of herself, she's made it where she wants to be. Dreams do come true from tragic starts.
I need your help, Daddy,
Someone's hitting me again. I need your love Daddy, Nobody else loves me. Mummy, where were you When I needed you the most? Mummy, you were once, But now, you're gone. I need you, big sister, I need your help to graduate Into this big, scary world That we call our reality. Brother, can't you see, That I need you in my life? You were always a ghostly spirit, But I never saw you in person. Family, can't you tell, That you left this poor girl alone In the world, when she was at Her most vulnerable? Parents, siblings, don't you ever wish, That she could re-enter your life right now? Instead, without your love, security and help, She supported herself, and her dreams came true. Now she's high up there with the celebrities, That you've always wanted to meet. Now, don't you ever wish, that you stayed with her, And took some credit for what you've achieved?
