My SisterA Poem by 1DisawsumMy sister seemed to be perfect, Amazing grades, highest ATAR. She was all round perfection. She had many friends, People that she could rely on, People that loved her for being her. But what many don't realise, Is how much masks can hide. It hides our private life. She was never happy at home, I know that. She hated the tension, Hated the stress of living in that house. She would constantly snap at everybody, But my mum blamed it on stress of work. What she didn't realise was, She wanted a voice. She couldn't speak her true feelings, So she bottled them up. Her perfect image Could not be ruined. So she kept quiet. Until her body, couldn't handle any more. She released her anger, and became a demon To be feared of. I was her confidant. © 2014 1Disawsum |
