A try at writing!

Hope still whispers chimes in my ears,
Let it play its glorified tune.
I died the day i tried to live,
I wish goodbyes didn't have to come so soon.

Au revoir to you my throb,
We'll meet on the other side.
I'll wait for you at the stop,
Where my heart won't have to hide.

Its my first time trying to write. I hope i could do some good :)

There are too many words in lines 1 and 4 of the first verse. I suggest get rid of "chimes" and "have to" and the poem will meter much better.
"Throb" is not a suitable word to use - I suggest changing the rhyme in lines 1 and three of verse two.
