A Day Wasted?

What a waste it was today

I missed the sunset and the sky

I neither smiled enough nor did I cry

I didn't listen to my song on loop 

I did not even admire the moon

I didn't sit quietly with nothing to do

I didn't part ways with the crowd too

I forgot to make you smile 

I forgot to live for a while

And the day just passed by 

But I wrote a poem by midnight 

To feel the day was a bit worthwhile.
