Embrace

Crystal eyes,

see beyond skin's surface.

delves in the depths,

of my heart.

Dreams and hopes,

lay resting there.

while she watches them,

all uncovered by her stare.  

a gaze unbroken,

gives me time.

to look upon the one ,

with all seeing eyes.

gentle beauty,

hiding in a ragged deception.

small and fragile,

unnoticed by most.

brightly she shines,

just for me.

unfolding my secrets,

with such ease.

as I softly,

destroy her disguise.

uncovering the woman beneath,

such a mighty task.

no other way,

would I've chosen.

due to one simple fact,

we now have each other.

world darkened,

brightens in each others presence.

giving each other all,

while we embrace.
