The saddest part when two souls part

they're both left with broken hearts

left to pick up the pieces

You left with a part of me

Its so clear for all to see

I also took a piece of you

I still cherish it, no matter what we went through

 

Truth is you influenced who i am

even if i havent seen you since god knows when

Now I know what side of me to keep and what to change

Before you came along I was just very strange

 

Author's Note

bleh, feel like it fell appart. kind of just started with the idea that i started on the first stanza. I would like some thought.I do plan to come back and re-touch everything up. This was actually a quick write to get some ideas flowing trying to get back into writting hopefully i will be posting some more things up very shortly.
