I can’t understand

How someone 

Wouldn’t

Want to die

In a world

Like this. 

I see no future

For me. 

I can’t imagine

Myself

In ten years.

Not even two. 

If I died 

Today,

My mother

Would be 

Devastated.

She said it herself. 

“If something

Ever

Happened to you,

I would 

Never

Recover.”

I’m pretty sure

It’s awfully 

Selfish

To want something

Terrible 

To happen to you.

Just to see

How others would

React. 

Just to see

How much they’d

Care. 

I think of my

Section leader. 

Saf would be

Down a player.

Someone 

Could fill in. 

I think of my

Relatives. 

They’d be 

Missing a 

Family weirdo. 

Unfortunate. 

I think of my

Church. 

They would 

Take such 

Pity 

On mom ‘n dad. 

If anybody 

Finds this, 

I’d have to change

The title.

That’s work

I can avoid. 

If nobody 

Finds this, 

I wrote it

For nothing. 

And that’s 

A darn waste.
