Wish I Could Have StayedA Poem by Kasey MiriamI love states south of Ohio and I wish I could just not come home from one of our family trips.
Picture perfect scenery every where I look.
Country music and mountain roads. Crystal clear water falling over smoothen rocks. Candy the old fashion way homeday each day. Drinking from mason jars anywhere in town. Sipping sweet tea and eating the best fried chicken. Down home southern hospitality and dialect that can't be beat. I'd move in a second, oh if only I could have stayed. But here I am back at home where the people are rude. Where sweet tea is hard to find and the people move too fast. Counrty culture is contry wide, but much less prominent here. Even spending my life at the famliy farm, completely different from the home I felt, down in Tennessee. Kasey Miriam 2015
