Gears.

Gears.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

Machines turn the gears into doors,
Swinging wide to open up my soul.
Come in and walk me  home, my one and only.
Seat me by a lake of daisies,
Caste your eyes my way,
Those marvelous scenic roads.
Allow me, please, to be examined
And twist me into a monster you'll love.
Who I am keeps shifting into the rain.
If I knew how to dance,
I'd place your feet next to mine
And save you the best moves.
Winding my gears to callobrate your emotions,
What is to become of this?
