Ignite.

Ignite.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

I miss the touch of your skin
Warmer than a summer sun burned into my palms
My hands reach for you, but only grasp these sheets.
I want to show you the stars for what they really are,
Place you in the Heavens to out do them all.
And when my walls shut down so easily,
Everyone can watch me stumble and fall.
You take me by the hands to raise me up ,
That sweet singe running down my spine.
Take me as I am, take me as I am.
