Slippery.

Slippery.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

I keep fighting these indentations, the previous demons
My unhealthy mind set, my insecurities, I am flawed
But as I look at you!, to obtain a sense of relief;
I see the light! I see the light I have longed to be.
I see Who I have wanted to become,
And pray that with time, I may be Grace.

Do not let me fall, so much to be forgotten.
I circle my head for a reason to kiss the glass,
But all I can find are the frames I already broke,
The pieces left for me to shatter.
I am such a joke, a wasted bag of bones.
Why do you love a Monster?
