This is about the current generation who thinks they hold no power. The truth is, we are the future, we will rule with power in as little as five years. If you think you are powerless, think again

Blink of an eye

Started off as a dream

I like it, it's good. It is very accurate how teenagers only go through the motions and never stop and realize that we are the future doctors, presidents, or someone who will find alternative solution to oil. Those that do realize that tomorrow is coming get broken down by those who don't care what happens to themselves. Maybe I won't end up a famous author, but many kids at my school know I have great story ideas. I'll never give up on my dream of being an author but there are other things I want to do to make a difference and create a brighter tomorrow. Others don't realize that we are creating the world for our children and grandchildren. Your poem makes people stop and think about their dreams. Good job! Keep writing! : )
