Letter to A lost loveA Poem by A little tipsyWanted to write a love poem which is way out of my comfort zone.
Will thy love flutter in the pit of my stomach like a decaying butterfly struggling to survive My emotions runs wild like an untamed steed searching for his mate on a desert plain I long to feel the simplest touch from thy soft silky skin In hopes that my heart will once again be pierced by ye emerald eyes Must our love wither away like dust of decay on a stormy sea My heart beat grows slow and soon I will join you in the great beyond ‘tis my mortal fate that I should die here on the sea of lost love. © 2011 A little tipsyAuthor's Note
