Under the Sun:

Under the Sun:

A Poem by C.

Suddenly I feel so small
Like a raindrop in an ocean
Being turned all around, upside down
By crashing waves of pain
So lost inside myself again
So lost without what once was

We used to be a beautiful flower
And now we're the wilted one
On a grave of someone long forgotten
Waiting for a rain-shower
To bring us back to life

But, we're in the desert
Covered in the ashes of our love
Burning up under the sun
Waiting for something,
Something to change
And we don't wonder
why this isn't strange

Two different flowers
Somehow made into one
But one, that cannot survive
And one that we cannot revive
Sinking forever into the ocean
With not a single notion
That we're not meant to be
Fighting forever
A battle that cannot be one
Burning forever under the sun

well this is a sad one....but we all get to feeling this way, small, forgotten and tired of fighting. You expressed the words here very nicely. It is depressing but sometimes we need to let those feelings out.

Good Job
