I'm Trying

This was my second attempt to fight depression which wasn't going so well.

It’s hard when no one appreciates you,

You feel just like a fool.

You try your best

On every challenge, every test.

Is it not enough?

What I try to do?

I feel bad,

Because I have feelings, too

I learn from my mistakes

I take a step at a time,

But everyone seems to drag me down

It’s hard to pretend that it’s just fine

Sometimes I need encouragement

Someone who believes other than myself

Someone who can wipe my tears

Someone who helps me conquer my fears

But is there such person around?

Because everybody drags me to the ground.
