about humans leaving earth

In a new world would we survive?

Would we even understand?

Or be a dinosaur in the flesh

Swimming in someone else’s soup

Walking on air

Sleeping awake

Moving at a stand still

Shifting into what I already am

Tomorrow is only today

Today will be a yesterday

Pearls before swine

Wonder through time

It’s all a state of mind

Comprehend what you must

My concern is not your ideal

Put your arms up or lay them down

Your outpost is in flames

Laughing chocolate Buddha spins

In a new world would we survive?

Or be a dinosaur in the flesh
