One day I know I’ll have to let go

I’ll never know all there is to know

At least I lived free

In simplistic luxury

 

I always wished Ma and Pa lived like me

Gazing out windows taking in all the worlds beauty

But they’re trapped by humanity

Always moving restlessly

I often think what the next horizon holds

Will paradise be a lap nap or a shoulder snuggle

Merging with the universe that keeps me happy

 

I guess I’ll know- suddenly
