about how I found God

In order to find you

To connect with you

I had to climb into pain

Disavow social norms

Undo the dogmatic teachings of humans

Pry myself away from pop sensibilities

I had to let go of everything I have ever known

Free fall into oblivion

 

Only to land back within myself

Evolved into what I should have always been

Many have turned from me

Wishing that I stayed the same

 

All illusions are over now

I live in boundless reality
