about recent events

As I sat and saw the news

Ferguson erupting in flames

Overturning cars

Breaking televisions and bars

Shooting one another

Stealing from your brothers

I didn’t laugh

I didn’t smile

I just shook my head

Thinking: There you go proving the ten percent correct

By acting uncivilized you stand for nothing

Your violence is a joke

All you did was ruin your own neighborhoods

What did you gain?

Nothing
