Forgotten How To Feel Alive.

These bloody wounds will never heal
I'm doing all right until I close my eyes
Your face appear in my mind
I break down in tears
I know I've felt this emptiness before
Yet I haven't learned my lesson.

Thought I could walk these streets alone
Thought I didn't need your dazzling light
to light up my path
Now I'm trapped in a hole; pitch black, no light
No ways, no one to hear me calling.

I still picture you and I as forever
I see you wherever I go

Your voice ring my my mind
Tears run down my cheeks

Can't find a reason to smile
all I see are a thousand reasons to cry.

I've forgotten how to feel alive

No pounding heart to beat
I can't breathe anymore.

I loved this piece. I could feel the emotions that you could feel in the poem. It's sad when you love someone and after you break up you still need them. They were the one that brought you happiness. And you realized that to late and you still want them, but you can't have them because they don't want to hear it. That is what I got from this piece. I enjoyed reading this.
