Yet Another RamblingA Poem by ArriannaI talk about my crush WAY too much.
Your face would make Aphrodite jealous
I know my place I'm not overzealous You'd never notice me hiding behind a book But your presence is overwhelming I can't take a look I try to pretend that I'm suave Everyone can see past my act Help me, dear God Beauty like yours comes with a price It's too much for a fool like me To ask you to be nice Hopeless is what they call me Unrequited love and pain We're all good friends, you see Within these pages, I can express myself Paper and pencil instead of eyes and lips They hear words, to you, I could never tell
