AstraphobiaA Poem by ArriannaIt always seems to be storming in my city.Mother Nature, why must you frighten me so? Don't you know I'm deathly afraid of tornadoes? I don't like rain, lightning and thunder, too It seems that there's no one else to blame but you You've got me tense, I might start crying Although there is little chance of me dying Statistics don't even begin to ease my fears Nor can my headphones dry my tears There's too much that makes me panic Depressed, insecure, and maybe manic I'm such a mess, I need to be cleaned My fearful nerves are painfully keen
