I was such a decent Vegan
never touched meat
No, not even egg all my life
Now I’m gonna die
becoz someone relished
pangolin pies & gibbon brain
with human embryo soup
This is f*****g unfair!
I pray I am born a bat-virus
next time around!
Karma will be a b***h
And I’ll be a f*****g supremo
Running riot in sleaze & filth
Infecting, replicating
Mutating forever on the sly
Beating man at his own game
Pooping in all his vitals
Till nothing is left of him
Just me cheering his maggots on
P.S. More lizard rice anyone?

Ewww no, I'd rather die. I'm not a vegetarian but very limited to chicken and eggs. Those "someones" found every creature edible and so the virus found them, along with us =|
I'd read an article two years ago of a man who visited China. He found a bottle of beer is cheaper than a bottle of water, quantity was the same for both. Also the students in the hostel were served fries of such insects that we can't imagine on our plates until hell freezes over. Yet those people dictate on every matter so we keep our poor hole on the face quiet.
Be a virus! But be the one that has life without any organic touch and attacks the weird eateries' customers.

I could feel the regret in your words and just felt I had to put it here in my own way. You have actually stated what almost everyone else is feeling. Kudos for that.
And yes, being a virus seems a better option. They’re getting sophisticated and are becoming almost invincible with every passing day. Their rise to supremacy is just accelerated by dirty, greedy mankind.
I’ll be a ‘good’ virus though and attack only the weirdos though ;)

Really? Well you did scribble my rant amazingly! I think some people in China were so obsessed with their name on everything that they went up thinking for something most powerful yet non vivid - Covid!

It's surreal to read this, noting it was posted at about the beginning of awareness of covid-19 & wondering if you imagined this specific covid scourge or if you were writing about scourges in general & inadvertently predicted the mayhem we've been living in the intervening months! After spending most of my young life wishing my dad (who raped me repeatedly) dead, I spent the rest of my life trying not to be vindictive, even in my thoughts. I find it disturbing the way your poem seems to pump up this idea as if possibly glorifying vengeance. But also, this is an artful & accurate depiction of how those vindictive visions can take over one's mind! I visualize this upon a certain world leader all the time! *wink! wink!* fondly, Margie

I think I know which leader you mean Ms. Margie ;) I was in splits today watching him dance at some rally. This poem was written in sheer wrath over the virus that's currently plaguing us and I do tend to get overwhelmed with such feelings from time to time. Restrictions of any kind are such a b***h! Thanks a ton for sharing your in-depth thoughts on this piece! The way you have tried moulding your mindset about it is to be very appreciated as I know it would be a very tough if not an impossible thing for me to do. *Smiles*
