Snap and crack.
They follow the whack.

A scream and a shout,
Come before the "Get out!"

A moan and a groan,
Of a dying crone.

A kick to the fist,
That will break her bone.

A tear and a plea,
Of a woman wanting to mourn.

A tooth on the floor.
Blood on the door.

A child in a crib.
Blood on its bib.

A plaque on the door.
It says; “Welcome Home.”
