I knew a boy once

a killer of frogs

bragged of 

blending them

in a fan

Today I woke

to a pool of

tadpoles

and found

that I was glad

This little poem speaks to me of utter cruelty. It is quite shocking and then by contrast, waking up to a pool of tadpoles brings a huge sense of relief. Very visual. A little piece of brevity which says so much. Well composed Anjeline.
