A SUNRISE SERENADEA Poem by DONALD EISSLERMusic to your ears I hopeA SUNRISE SERANADE
It's early in the morning. Sleep still is my eyes. My arms reach out for you, As I listen for your sighs.
We've made love upon the sunset, And when the sun starts to rise. We've made love upon the meadow As the clouds came tumbling by.
We have love in our hearts. We have love in our mind. We have love when I hold your hand, We know that's a very special kind.
I know of nothing better, Not a ray of bright sunshine. Nor a flake of tickling snow. Then your body next to mine.
I shall not awake you From the peacefulness I see. For I know what you're dreaming of. Me loving you, and you loving me. © 2011 DONALD EISSLERReviews
