A SUNRISE SERENADE

A SUNRISE SERENADE

A Poem by DONALD EISSLER
"

Music to your ears I hope

"

A SUNRISE SERANADE

It's early in the morning.

Sleep still is my eyes.

My arms reach out for you,

As I listen for your sighs.

We've made love upon the sunset,

And when the sun starts to rise.

We've made love upon the meadow

As the clouds came tumbling by.

We have love in our hearts.

We have love in our mind.

We have love when I hold your hand,

We know that's a very special kind.

I know of nothing better,

Not a ray of bright sunshine.

Nor a flake of tickling snow.

Then your body next to mine.

I shall not awake you

From the peacefulness I see.

For I know what you're dreaming of.

Me loving you, and you loving me.

Your pen is very might, Sir. This was a exquisite feast to devour line by line.

Ahhh Love ... to experience it and be able to express it in poetry ... It doesn't get any better than that ...... Not only does it touch the hearts of your readers, but it gives us a glimpse of yours .... Excellent.

Oh my this was beautiful! I have felt this way and often I long for it again. This was a perfect dedication to love and to the one who evokes those feelings in us. Brilliant!
