Dance of the Jungle

Dance of the Jungle

A Poem by Tiki

The swaying of the buildings is shown
like artworks from above.
The chatterings between the individuals
are soft noises from the jungle.
"We have to have one of us go~"

"Hear the animals talk and whisper,
hear the drumbeats sound
from the thumping of the great shadows,
hiding 'neath the chaos of the city."

The lights of the building
show warmth like the trees
which the trees also sway.
The music, exotic, flies through the crowds,
making them dance like the animals which sleep.
But in the warmth,
the animals choose their sacrifice.
And so, the intelligent being speaks,
"From above, the buildings sway beautifully.
The people dance without purpose,
with the streets empty..."
The cloud passes through the buildings,
marking their existence.
Everybody watches in awe...
But when I let my hand go my friend,
we yet again have chosen a sacrifice.
The buildings sway,
the chatters sound,
and I sing.
From above, it creates an artwork, so beautifully seen.
The buildings sound the trees, and the wolves howl.
